Founder & Chief Visionary
Credentials: M.M. in Hospitality, Cornell University; 20+ years in luxury hospitality leadership with Aman Resorts and Four Seasons.
Bio: As the visionary behind Juara Holding Group, Budi’s passion is to showcase the pinnacle of Indonesian hospitality to the world. He founded Wellness Sabbatical Bali to address the needs of a new generation of luxury travelers seeking purpose and transformation over simple leisure. Budi’s extensive network and uncompromising standards are the bedrock of our service, ensuring every partner and experience meets a level of excellence that is second to none.
Dr. Ayu Lestari, N.D.
Head of Wellness Programming
Credentials: Naturopathic Doctor (N.D.), Bastyr University; E-RYT 500 Yoga Alliance Certified Instructor; Certified Ayurvedic Lifestyle Consultant.
Bio: Dr. Lestari is the heart of our wellness philosophy. With a background in both evidence-based naturopathic medicine and traditional healing arts, she is uniquely qualified to design our holistic programs. Having served as the Wellness Director at the renowned COMO Shambhala Estate, Ayu possesses an encyclopedic knowledge of Bali’s healing landscape. She personally vets every practitioner, from meditation guides to nutritionists, ensuring their methods are both authentic and effective. Her work ensures that every sabbatical is not just relaxing, but truly transformative.
Gede Wirawan
Director of Operations & Logistics
Credentials: Certified Tourism Professional, ASITA (Association of the Indonesian Tours & Travel Agencies); 15 years in high-end Bali tourism logistics.
Bio: A native of Tabanan, Bali, Gede is our master of seamless execution. He understands the island’s rhythms and complexities like no one else. From navigating VIP airport arrivals and coordinating private helicopter transfers to ensuring absolute privacy and security at our partner estates, Gede’s meticulous planning is what makes the impossible feel effortless for our clients.
